Watermelon Mint Water
Hydrate your body all summer long with flavored water that’s infused with a classic seasonal fruit and popular garden herb.
Ingredients
Serves: 12
Serving Size: 8 oz per serving
Infused water
3 cups seedless watermelon (cubed)
6 sprigs fresh mint
4 cups ice
8 cups water
Garnishes (optional)
12 seedless watermelon cubes
12 sprigs fresh mint
Directions
- Put the 3 cups of watermelon and 6 mint sprigs in a 3-quart water pitcher. Fill the pitcher with ice. Cover with the water. Refrigerate 2 to 4 hours before serving
- To serve, using a slotted spoon, remove and discard the watermelon and mint sprigs. Pour the infused water into glasses
- To garnish, add a watermelon cube and a mint sprig to each glass
Tip: For a fancier presentation, thread a watermelon cube and fresh mint sprig using a toothpick. Lay the toothpick across the rim of the glass.
Tip: the infused water will keep refrigerated for up to 2 days
